Dental implants are titanium posts that mimic the root of a tooth that are surgically placed into the jawbone. Once placed, a small amount of time is allowed for the bone to fuse or osseointegrate to the implant.
Drs. Shaver and Hammen practice also involves the diagnosis and treatment of oral and peri-oral lesions. Their training included both general and oral pathology although their primary focus is on oral and facial pathology.
