Drs. Shaver and Hammen are oral and maxillofacial surgeons that are highly trained in the management of oral and facial trauma.
Our Training Includes
- Repair of oral and facial lacerations
- Management of dental trauma
- Repair of fractured facial bones including fractures of the mandible, maxilla, nasal bones, and zygomas (ie. cheek bones)
Drs. Shaver and Hammen are uniquely trained in the fact that some procedures can be completed in the office using various types of anesthesia. Severe trauma may require surgeries be performed in the hospital or as an outpatient at a local surgery center.
